I would like to nominate Deputy Wyatt Topham for the Utah County Employee of the Month. Deputy Topham has worked at the Sheriff’s office for over seven years. He is dedicated to his position in the jail and always goes out of his way to teach all the newer deputies to help set them up for success in their careers.

During Labor Day weekend Deputy Topham took the initiative to power wash the recreation yards for the inmates. During his night shift rotation, he brought his own pressure washer and gas and took the time to go to each recreation yard and make sure the floor and all windows were cleaned. He was assisted by Deputy Sorensen.

Deputy Topham always makes each shift enjoyable with his humor and his computer skills (if you know, you know). He organizes potluck dinners with a different theme each month, which has been a great asset in changing up the menus and showcases the other team members' skills and talents in cooking.

Deputy Topham has a great attitude and excellent work ethic. Since becoming my Deputy In Charge, he has become a true leader with his roll and can handle every situation that has been thrown his way not matter how difficult the situation.
