Tricia Rogers
Employee of the Month - April 2026

Tricia Rogers is an invaluable member of the Public Works Department and an outstanding candidate for Employee of the Month. In the relatively short time she has been with the county—just over a year and a half—she has quickly learned our systems, processes, and the many details of the job, making it feel as though she has been part of the team for much longer. Tricia has truly excelled in her role, taking ownership of her responsibilities while consistently demonstrating professionalism, reliability, and a genuine commitment to serving both her coworkers and the public.
A significant part of Tricia’s role involves assisting members of the public who call to reserve our parks, many of whom—especially elderly residents—may not feel comfortable navigating the online reservation system. Tricia approaches every call with kindness, patience, and encouragement, calmly walking callers through the process step by step and often staying on the phone until they feel completely confident about their reservation. She has become a true expert in the Sportsites Parks Reservation program and consistently goes the extra mile to resolve customer concerns and ensure their needs are met. She does an excellent job fielding calls from Equestrian Park users to ensure they receive accurate information and timely assistance.
Tricia is also a tremendous support to our internal team and is always willing to assist coworkers with questions. In addition, she efficiently manages purchase orders for some of our larger Public Works divisions, including Fleet and Parks, while keeping county accounts and P-Cards organized and reconciled so that the essential work of these divisions can continue without interruption.
Beyond her daily responsibilities, Tricia is proactive and continually looks for ways to improve processes. She has played an important role in the implementation of the new Event Permit program, working closely with multiple departments including Information Systems to ensure the program functions smoothly and effectively. Her dedication and attention to detail have been instrumental in helping the program move forward successfully.
Just as important as her work ethic is the positive energy she brings to the office each day. Tricia is friendly, approachable, and genuinely cares about the people she interacts with, and that sincerity is felt by both coworkers and members of the public. She works well with everyone and contributes to a welcoming, supportive workplace environment. She is dependable, hardworking, and someone that can be counted on to get the job done whenever a task is assigned to her. We are very fortunate to have her as part of the Public Works team, and we greatly appreciate the dedication, professionalism, and positivity she brings to the county and to the community we have the incredible privilege to serve.
