Angie Ehrenzweig
Employee of the Month - March 2026

I would like to nominate Angie Ehrenzweig from the kitchen staff for Employee of the Month.
Angie has been an invaluable asset to the Sheriff's Office, and this coming May marks her 3-year anniversary with us. Her many years of experience in the food industry have brought her to this point, where she provides exceptional leadership and stability in our kitchen.
Most recently, at Matty’s Code 7 Cafe, she has shown an incredible teaching-oriented approach. She teaches inmates how to cook, often spending hours a day working right alongside them over the stove. She empowers them by allowing them to collaborate on and create the menus, ensuring a diverse and engaging menu all month long. Everyone especially loves her cooking on themed days like "Cafe Rio Day" and "Tucano's Day."
Angie’s commitment to professional excellence is further evidenced by her recent completion of the Food Safety Manager training course. She works tirelessly to ensure every meal is perfect—personally verifying that food is cooked properly and tastes great before it is ever served.
She is a true team player who will stay late, come in early, or work on her days off to assist with kitchen needs. She has a thorough understanding of all kitchen operations, allowing her to cover other people's duties and step in anywhere at any time. Her dedication to her team's growth and the exceptional quality of the cafe make her an ideal candidate for this recognition.
